01The cockpit came first
Formula Atlantic, BMW 3.0 CSL, Lotus 47, Lola T70 and Kremer Porsche 935 machinery across Europe and the United States. Long before consultancy, Phil learned that speed only works when preparation, judgement and the people around the machine are completely aligned.

02The crash that changed the trajectory
A near-fatal 300 km/h accident in France brought third-degree burns, a broken neck and twelve months of incapacity. Phil credits the late Professor Sid Watkins for the mobility he has today. Recovery replaced certainty with perspective—but not momentum.
2001–2007
03The racing never really stopped
Porsche Cup, Ferrari Challenge, a self-funded race team, an 8:04 Nürburgring Nordschleife lap in a Caterham R500 and international limit-handling instruction kept the feedback loop brutally honest. A stopwatch is not interested in a presentation.
